Useful Applications

We have our own branded app which you can use to schedule classes, buy memberships or class packs, and update your profile information. The OpenBox Athletics app is available on iOS and Android.

We utilized PushPress Train to announce, track, and monitor workouts. Every night at 8pm, new workouts are pushed out to our community. Pushpress Train is integrated into our Pushpress branded app.


Arrival

Please make every effort to arrive at least 5 minutes before class to make sure you are ready to begin when your class commences. This includes time to check-in to the class you are attending. Check-in can occur one of two ways:

  • Via our branded OBA app in the App Store and Google Play Store

  • At the front desk upon your arrival at the Pushpress kiosk


Cancellation

New cancellation policy effective October 15, 2024

We get it, things happen requiring you to change your plans. OpenBox Athletics has a 2-hour cancellation policy. What this means is if you cancel your class reservation at least 2 hours prior to class commencing, you will receive a full credit back to your account. If you cancel within the 2-hour window you will be charged a $10 fee for a late cancel or a no-show to class. Clients with a 3x per week membership will get their class back in exchange for paying the cancellation fee.

At the present time, this cancellation policy is applicable to weekday classes at 430pm, 530pm, and 630pm as well as all classes on Saturday and Sunday.

Cancelling your reservation on time allows for other members of our community to utilize your class spot or for people on the waitlist to be added to classes that are already full.

All classes must be cancelled online through our OpenBox Athletics branded app.

Waitlist

If the class you want to attend is full, join the waitlist. To join the waitlist you must have a class credit in your account. If a spot opens up, you will be notified by email, text, or phone depending on the preference set in your profile. To receive these reminders, your pushpress profile must be set to accept notifications and reminders. You can remove yourself from the waitlist up to 120 minutes before the class starts, provided you have not already been added to class. If you are pulled off the waitlist within the cancellation window, your account will be credited as if you attended.

To check your waitlist status, log into pushpress, go to My Info and click My Schedule. If you got into the class it will say Waitlist Confirmed. If you no longer want to attend this class, be sure to remove yourself.


Membership Hold Policy

STarting June 1, 2023, our hold policy has been revised to reduce the monthly cost associated with a hold.

If you are traveling or injured, you may choose to put your membership on hold for $15 per month.  Hold periods are a minimum of 21 days and a maximum of 90 days. You may hold a membership for a maximum of 90 days in any calendar year.

To further clarify the hold charge, the fee of $15 per month will process on each monthly billing date that may occur during a hold period. ie, if your billing date is the 1st of every month and you request a hold from December 31st to February 2nd, you will be charged $15 on January 1st and again on February 1st.

Drop-In Policy

We love drop-ins, about as much as we love dropping into other gyms. If you would like to drop-in to OpenBox Athletics for a class or open gym, feel free to come to any of our current class times listed on our Schedule and please arrive early enough to meet the coach running the class as well as get setup in our system.

You will be required to fill out a waiver ahead of time and sign-up for class through our scheduling system, pushpress. If you do not have a pushpress account, you will be asked to create one. After registration, you can purchase our drop-in class option in our store. Click here to purchase a drop-in class now. 

We run open gym throughout the day, however we ask that you contact us ahead of time should you seek to utilize this option.  As a busy gym, we want to make sure that our clients have priority during the day.


Client Referrals

Friends, family, and co-workers can make the best accountability partners in a fitness endeavor.  Why not have them join you at OpenBox Athletics?  For every new member a client refers, we will provide a $50 credit towards the following month's dues. In order to receive the credit, your referral needs to sign up for a minimum of one month OR purchase any of the class pack options.  This applies to both our OBAFiT and O.B.A. Colidr programs.  If you purchased a class pack, credits will be applied to any future membership or class pack purchase. 


Do you offer a free class?

We get this question a lot so we decided to answer it here. We do not offer a free first class or trial class. We believe in the value of our coaching staff’s time as well as the quality of the product that they produce during a class hour. We do however gladly refund a drop-in should your first class lead you to join OpenBox Athletics.
