OBAFIT/CrossFit OBA

OpenBox Athletics is the home of CrossFit OBA

OBAFiT/Crossfit oba is OpenBox Athletics’ most complete functional workout program that incorporates all aspects of cardiovascular and strength training. The skills taught by our experienced coaching team range from bodyweight and gymnastics movements to Olympic lifting and powerlifting. Each workout is designed to promote strength, endurance, speed, and agility. OBAFiT classes are offered over 30 times a week and each class is 60 minutes. Classes include a detailed warmup that will prime you for the strength and metabolic conditioning (Metcon) workouts. Classes usually conclude with an accessory piece designed to promote longevity of joints, connective tissues, and small muscle groups.

OBAFiT caters to individuals of all fitness levels and movements are scaled to each individual’s capabilities. We never take a “one size fits all” approach and pride ourselves on working with individuals to achieve their fitness goals. We will meet you where you are when you walk through our doors and make sure you get an excellent workout that fits the intent every day.

Our coaching team is comprised of passionate individuals who all have their CrossFit Level 1 certification (at a minimum) with extensive backgrounds in coaching, education, and health and sports sciences. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or request scaling options. Our coaches are approachable and here to help you!

Class Schedules:
We use MINDBODY to schedule classes and you can find the class times under Schedule in the main navigation of our website.

Workout Tracking (included with your membership):
We have teamed up with SugarWOD, a powerful programming tool that allows us to publish our WOD’s the night before, provide logging capabilities, and enhance community interaction. We believe strongly in logging your workouts and this app makes the process simple. Even if progression is not your goal, you should still be logging your results so you can better understand what weights to use during strength conditioning or the Metcon.
